Carlton Manor Holiday Park
Holiday park with static caravans. Designed "caravans for sale" and "Deal of the Month" programs (in addition to CMS) to enable sales and promotions via the website.
Rave in the Nave
Annual Christian youth event, held at Ely Cathedral. "Rave in the Nave" is lots of fun (so the kids tell me!) and encourages young people to see their faith in new ways. Working with Newmarket and District Youth for Christ and the Ely Diocese Youth Office, we have created a website both appealing to young people, and easy for the diocese to update.
John Henry Group
Civil Engineering firm based in Longstanton, Cambridgeshire. Highly customised client updated website. See their testimonial.
Kirtling Village Hall

Designed online booking system with PayPal integration, to encourage more hall bookings. Took photos for new website, and installed custom CMS.
Doggy Style Pet Groomers

Art Next the Sea Gallery
Art gallery website featuring highly customised CMS, as well as Google location. Highly visual website.
The Boot Inn, Dullingham
CAMRA award-winning free house in Dullingham, with a lively social and sporting scene. As well as the usual content management, this includes pages for the wide variety of clubs and societies associated with the pub to update their own news pages.
Versatile Packaging Solutions
Bespoke packaging design and print firm based in Southampton, who now have a website they can edit themselves, including adding pictures of their best work.
West Suffolk SOS Bus
Racing Welfare initiative, aimed at helping vulnerable people on the streets of Newmarket late at night, particularly visitors to our pubs and clubs. Website is providing information and publicity prior to launch, and helping to recruit volunteers and other helpers. On adding a CMS and updatable photo gallery to the site Joe Carter, of Racing Welfare, said: "this is great and I'm sure will make updating the site in the long run really user friendly...thank you."
Friends of Gibraltar Society
One of my first web sites, and a springboard into some of my first web developer jobs over 10 years ago. Registered charity. Recently completely revamped so that the society's committee can update it as needed, in time for the society's rebranding exercise.

Newmarket Town Pastors
Churches Together initiative aimed at helping vulnerable people on the streets of Newmarket late at night, particularly visitors to our pubs and clubs. Project started on 4th April 2009, so the site was building excitement and collecting donations prior to the launch, and is now providing updates on Town Pastor activity and encouraging new recruits.
Rock Jottings
Michael Brufal has interviewed dozens of politicians and other influential people about their views on Gibraltar. Here they are all collected together in one place.
Old Stable House Retreat Centre

Retreat centre in Newmarket. Challenge was to produce a relaxing website, to evoke an atmosphere of peace and tranquility and the sense of "getting away from it all".
Hatton Park Primary School
www.hattonparkschool.co.ukContent managed website, so the words are put up by the school themselves, but I did their look and the programming to allow them to manage their own content, pictures and lists of documents. I took a number of the pictures myself, to do the banner and get them started.
St. Mary's and St. Agnes' Church of England churches, Newmarket

Content managed website for a local church. Trained the rector, and took a selection of images of both churches.
Sista Dee
Gibraltarian Reggae artist and friend, started developing this in September 2006. Very different look, the challenge being to get it colourful and usable/readable! Added track snippets/video and online payment option. Added bilingual option for her Spanish fans.
Artistry in Cocoa
Newmarket based chocolate maker- makes chocolates fresh to order! If you're into chocolate, I need say no more... Another full e-commerce site that is updated by customer now.
Churches Together in Newmarket & District
www.newmarketchurches.co.ukBrings together info about all Newmarket's churches. I took practically all the photos, and the look has come out really well. Hopefully a useful site to Newmarket visitors, especially with the Google maps added.
Starbase 24
Star Trek and sci-fi based club in Milton Keynes. Incorporated content management to an existing design, later redesigned to mimic Star Trek computer screen layout.
Janet Whiteley
Personal website for Borough Council elections candidate. Had to follow party style guidelines. [Update: she got elected by five votes!]
Britania Build
We were asked to recreate the existing look, but with the ability to easily update the website with new information.
London Salsa
Done for my salsa teacher, Nelson Batista. Getting the home page banner right was a fun challenge!
Our Lady and St. Etheldreda's RC church, Newmarket
Got handed a machine-generated site, changed it into something more workable and updatable, while keeping the look. Added a lot of pictures, most of which I took myself. My parish church.
GJS Plastering
Single-page plastering contractor website built to emulate Yellow Pages ad. SEO was the main challenge for a one-page website!
La Cicuta
Family pictures website done for a friend. He can upload pictures himself, without needing to know HTML.
Cambridgeshire County Council
Worked for them for nearly 10 years, including during the "Holly & Jessica" crisis, which swamped our website with messages from well-wishers. Some of my best work was on their intranet in ColdFusion MX, including an online staff notice board and internal invoice system. Created thousands of library images for their current CMS site.
Gibraltar Action Group
Sometimes, a guy's gotta do what a guy's gotta do- and if that includes telling the government that they're doing something nuts, then so be it. Flashmobs on Downing Street. Fortunately, they've now seen sense, and more Gibraltar flags than they ever want to see again...
Cambridge COPE
Over-50's organisation. Started this, and trained them to update it themselves.
